Shipping policy

Shipping

Once you place your order, we’ll get your items to you as quickly as possible. We use Australia Post to deliver across Australian capital cities, regional areas, and internationally.

  • Shipping times are estimates. While we aim to deliver on time, occasional delays can occur beyond our control.

  • You’ll receive an order confirmation email (if you’ve provided your email address) and updates as your order is processed. If you order multiple items, some may ship separately depending on stock availability - but we’ll always keep you in the loop.

  • We’ll make every reasonable effort to contact you using the details you provided.

Tracking: A tracking number will be provided once your order has been fulfilled. You can request this anytime at shop@balter.com.au if you don’t see it in your inbox.

Missed Delivery/Re-delivery: If no one is home, Australia Post may leave your parcel in a safe place or redirect it to your nearest Local Post Office (LPO) for collection. If the parcel isn’t collected within 30 days and is returned to our warehouse, we’ll get in touch with you to arrange re-delivery (additional shipping charges may apply.)

Change of Address: We cannot be held responsible for an incorrect address being entered on your order. Address confirmation is given in the checkout section of the site. If this is not noticed until after your order is finalised, please contact us immediately.

We will attempt to update any incorrect order details, however due to the fast turnaround of our shipping, some orders cannot be adjusted. Balter Brewing cannot be held responsible for incorrectly entered shipping addresses and will not replace orders not delivered as a result of you entering an incorrect address.

Lost or Damaged Parcels: If your parcel is lost or damaged in transit, contact us at shop@balter.com.au and we’ll work with the courier to resolve it.

International Orders: Delivery times and costs vary by country and may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or fees, which are the responsibility of the recipient.


Postage & Handling

All orders in Australia will be $10 for Standard, $20 for Express.

Standard Post (Australia Post)

  • Dispatched the following business day for orders placed before 5pm.

  • Delivery is usually 2-5 business days depending on your location.

  • Regional and remote areas may take a little longer, following Australia Post delivery routes.

Express Post (Australia Post)

  • Dispatched the following business day for orders placed before 5pm.

  • Delivery is usually next business day to capital cities and major metro areas within the Express Post network.

Weekend Orders: Orders placed over the weekend will be packed and dispatched the following Monday, and delivery times will apply from then.

Peak Times: During peak times (e.g. Christmas, major sales), dispatch may take 2-5 business days.

International Orders: Dispatched the next business day for orders placed before 5pm. Delivery is generally within 10 business days, subject to customs clearance. Please note that for orders to the USA, customs processing often takes longer, which may extend delivery timeframes beyond the standard estimate.

Important to Note: Delivery is handled by third parties (Australia Post / StarTrack). While we do our best to get your order out quickly, we can’t guarantee delivery times and aren’t responsible for delays once your order has been dispatched.

 

Fair Use

If we suspect fraudulent and/or suspicious activity with your account or orders, we may contact you and/or proceed to cancel your order or close your account.
